Richard Y. Newton, III Lieutenant General, U.S. Air Force (Ret.)
Founding Partner
Lieutenant General Dick Newton is a distinguished senior leader who served more than 34 years on active duty in the U.S. Military culminating as the Assistant Vice Chief of Staff of the United States Air Force. Over the course of his military career, he led thousands of men and women in both peacetime and times of crisis, shaping operations at the highest levels of national defense.
Following his military service, General Newton has continued to serve through significant leadership roles in both the public and private sectors. He is the on-air Senior National Security Contributor for NewsNation, the fastest-growing basic cable network in the United States, and also provides commentary on the nationally syndicated iHeartRadio. He currently serves as Strategic Advisor to Thunderstrike Aviation, Inc., a leading manufacturer of dual-use drone technologies in the United States and Denmark.
General Newton brings extensive corporate governance experience, serving as Director of Victory Capital Management (NASDAQ: VCTR), Victory Portfolios III Board of Directors, and Director, Safeguard Acquisition Corp (NYSE: SAC.U). His previous board service includes Director, Terran Orbital Corporation (NYSE: LLAP), a leader in small satellite solutions, and ELTA North America, the U.S. subsidiary of Israel Aerospace Industries. He also served as Chairman of the Board of the Army and Air Force Exchange Service, a $10 billion global retail store chain supporting military communities worldwide.
His senior executive leadership extends beyond the military, having served as the Executive Director of the prestigious Union League Club in New York City and Executive Vice President of the Air Force Association, a 100,000-member national security service organization.
During his Air Force career, General Newton held numerous high-impact leadership roles, including overseeing the Global Operations Directorate for the Joint Chiefs of Staff, with responsibility for worldwide cybersecurity, reconnaissance, space and missile defense, the National Military Command Center, and U.S. military special technical operations, among others.
A command pilot with nearly 3,000 flying hours, General Newton was the nation’s first commander of the B-2 Stealth Bomber squadron at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri. He also commanded Minot Air Force Base and the 5th Bomb Wing during the attacks on September 11, and led the B-1B Operations Group at Ellsworth Air Force Base. His operational experience spans the B-2, B-1B, B-52, and T-38 aircraft.
General Newton is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy (B.S., History), Webster University (M.A., Industrial Psychology and Human Relations), and the National War College (M.S., National Security Strategy).
He and his wife Gigi are very active in the south Florida region and reside in Palm Beach Gardens, Flo.

A dual U.S. and Israeli citizen, Noam served in the Israeli Air Force before earning a double major in Economics and Business Administration from Tel Aviv University, followed by an MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business. This foundation has shaped his cross-disciplinary approach to strategy, finance, and execution.
A seasoned entrepreneur, executive, and technology investor, Noam possesses a wealth of experience in strategic planning, corporate development, and operational management. He has successfully guided both early-stage startups and well-established organizations through transformational growth, making him a trusted partner to Taurus 13’s investment companies and holdings. Noam currently also serves as Founder and CEO of Giraffe Media Group, which specializes in large-scale digital marketing campaigns representing some of the top U.S. brands and engaging approximately 10 million consumers daily.
